Horizon is AEO & ISO 9001 Certified. ISO 9001 is an international standard for Quality Management Systems and is a set of interrelated, mutually supporting and synergistic programs and activities. Horizon has held the certification since 2003.
Quality Management means planning and running an operation so that it consistently delivers a quality service. Its focus is on preventing defects and on making corrective actions in order to continually drive improvements across the business. The aim is to make work easier and more effective, controlling costs and keeping performance at consistently high levels.
Horizon’s quality system is audited against the requirements of ISO 9001 by an approved third party.
Horizon International’s policy is to provide and deliver consistent, high quality services on time and to meet or exceed specified customer requirements. We are also committed to meeting statutory and regulatory requirements, and to drive continual improvement based upon strategic direction, reliable business processes, best practices and customer feedback. In all cases, we take into account organisation context, interested parties needs and expectations, risks and opportunities.
Horizon International operates a documented Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, ensuring a systematic and disciplined approach is taken by all employees. Our Directors have assigned responsibility throughout the organisation for implementing and maintaining the Quality System procedures and processes, which are continually reviewed and improved.
All staff are made aware of the aims and objectives of the Quality Management System and associated Operating Procedures and are expected to adhere to their requirements. Everyone is encouraged to suggest ways in which the Quality Management System can be improved.
Horizon International communicates its Quality Policy to all staff through notice boards, staff induction and training. It is available to all interested parties through the company website and is readily available on request.
